Acerca de Mí
Por ahora sólo digamos que me llamo Shery. Hago canciones, canto, SIENTO.
Mi carrera musical apenas está empezando. Soy de Guatemala, tierra de atol de elote, frijolitos negros, lagos mágicos, pirámides mayas y de un gigante que se llama Ricardo Arjona.
Nací un 18 de agosto bajo el signo de Leo. Me enloquecen los tacos mexicanos, la comida típica chapina (frijolitos, chuchitos, rellenitos, tamales, atol de elote!!), y adoro a mi diminuta y feroz perra silky terrier llamada Ponkis, quien cree firmemente ser encarnación del Lobo Feroz...
Y ahora por fin, luego de dos años y medio de sudar y trabajar más que la Hormiga Atómica, acabo de terminar mi primer disco, que se llama 'El Amor es un Fantasma', nombre robado con todo descaro de la primera canción que escribí, un tema que habla sobre la permanencia, la inmortalidd de un amor que se niega a morir. Viene empacado de sentimientos, con un total de 13 canciones (a menos que seas suficientemente curioso como para descubrir otra cosa), todas mías (letra y musica), excepto dos invitadas: "El Amor", del maestro español José Luis Perales, y "Continuamente", escrita por mi brillante amigo italiano Francesco Sondelli, con quien ademas co-escribí un magnífico tema que se llama "El suspiro se me va".

About Me
For now, let's just say my name is Shery. I write songs, I sing, I FEEL.
My music career is just beginning. I'm from Guatemala, land of lakes, magical volcanoes, Mayan pyramids and home of a giant named Ricardo Arjona.
Just in case you are curious, I was born an August 18, under the sign of Leo. I'm crazy for Mexican tacos, Guatemalan regional food (frijolitos, chuchitos, rellenitos, tamales, atol de elote!!), and I love my tiny, fierce dog, Ponkis. It's a tiny Silky Terrier, but I suspect she believes she is the incarnation of Big Bad Wolf...
And now (at last!), after two and a half years of struggle, working harder than the Atomic Ant, my debut album is ready. Title is 'El Amor es un Fantasma' ("Love is a Ghost"), a name taken from my first single, a song about the pervasiveness, the immortality of a love that refuses to die. It comes loaded with feelings, featuring a total of 13 songs (unless you curious enough to conclude otherwise...), all written by me, except two guest tracks: my very own version of "El Amor", the universally beloved song by José Luis Perales, the great romantic Maestro from Spain, and "Continuamente", a magical duet written by my brilliant Italian friend Francesco Sondelli, with whom I also co-wrote "El Suspiro Se Me Va".
