Significado de la letra
En esta canción de RBD titulada 'A la orilla', se habla de una persona que ha perdido su identidad al creer ciegamente en alguien. Está esperando una señal para sobrevivir, siempre ha sido incondicional, dando todo lo que se le pedía. Pero ahora, ya no más.
Cuando se está enamorado, todo parece ir bien, pero al decir adiós se pierde en el desprecio del otro. El silencio de la persona amada lo confunde, lo hace sentir equivocado.
Ha vivido a merced de esa persona, escuchando su susurro como si fuera una religión. Se siente sin aliento, ya no sabe quién es.
Pide que le abran el corazón y le digan la verdad, sin miedo. Necesita escuchar lo que realmente siente la otra persona por él, sin temor.
