I. Learn to Fly

Sometimes I wish, to raise my feet from the earth
Ironically, I didn't want to learn to fly
Fearing the way, of the key to liberty
I think that's why, I failed three steps to walk the sky

I was foretold, always misunderstood, laughed at and confused
A glimpse in the mirror, deeply inside of me, there was a gift, a pair of wings

I grabbed both wings, removed the dust and cleaned them up
They weren't new, they were growing old with me
I wasn't a bird, nor an angel, nor a firefly
I was myself, feeling down without a hope

I was foretold, always misunderstood, laughed at and confused
A glimpse in the mirror, deeply inside of me, there was a gift, my liberty

I'm taking my hopes, leaving my home, my friends, behind of me
I'm left with belief that there's happiness ahead my journey
There's no turning back, once I have left the ground below me
It's time to be strong, to spread my wings and learn to fly.

The sky opens, shows me where to go, how it all begins
I'm hearing my gift, appears to be a warning!
"Careful where you step, careful where you go"
It's all up to me, it's all in my fate, to leave the ground and answer before it's too late

I'm taking my hopes, leaving my home, my friends, behind of me
I'm left with belief that there's happiness ahead my journey
There's no turning back, once I have left the ground below me
It's time to be strong, to spread my wings and learn to fly.

II. Hang Gliding

Before I realized, in the sudden blink of an eye
I was absorbed, by the greatness of the sky
Not feeling scared, because my life had just begun
And that's why I know, the reason why I'll never fall

In just a matter of few seconds, watching the birth of seven angels where there is no sin
Hang Gliding in the pool of vision, free of the grasp of corruption and my misty past.

I'm flying too high, with my eyes set far away
Up there where God embraces us and watches all
I feel his hand, pointing me and guiding me
I'm drifting now, and forever 'till the end of time.

In just a matter of few seconds, watching the birth of seven angels where there is no sin
Hang Gliding in the pool of vision, free of the grasp of corruption and my misty past.

Even when darkness takes over you and me
We'll never be alone, we shouldn't be afraid
All paths take to the same place
We'll never give in to despair, we will stay together
Besides each other
We'll never give in, we'll always hang glide...

III. The Fall

I don't know the reason, the sky just turned to black
Suddenly the beauty metamorphosed in pain
As I flew high in space, I secured my fall
I set my eyes on heaven, my wings were torn apart

I know it is the end, I realize it all
No one cares for me, and my broken wings
My will is still with me, in my awakening
I'm aiming to sea and about to strike my fall.

IV. Violent Landing

Like a shooting star, shrouded by fire, fear and despair
There is no one there to catch me in my violent landing
My body in the sky, my faith never left this world beneath me
To transcend in time, I just need to open my own heart.
