Significado de la letra
En el primer verso, la canción nos recuerda que las palabras pronunciadas por una fuerza superior dieron origen a nuestra existencia. A pesar de haber desviado el diseño original, pedimos que nos comuniques una vez más tus enseñanzas y nos guíes hacia la vida. En el estribillo, se hace un llamado poderoso para que la luz disipe las sombras, que la esperanza renazca en medio de la desesperanza, que la paz llene los momentos de tristeza y que el amor sea el camino de regreso a casa.
En el segundo verso, se destaca la presencia del Cordero de Dios que libra al mundo de sus pecados, donde queda claro que no merecemos tanto amor, pero aun así se nos ofrece más de lo que podemos imaginar. El puente establece que existe una luz única, un salvador que brilla para todos, una esperanza encarnada en Jesús. Finalmente, el coro se repite con el anhelo de que la luz guíe en la oscuridad, que la esperanza florezca en la desolación, que la paz sea un bálsamo en la aflicción y que el amor sea el sendero de retorno a nuestro hogar.
