Nightmare

How much time has passed since that day/I don't remember/time for me no longer exists/I‘ll do it as it's the easiest way/well/it seems easier/for me/
I didn't want to/

Wake up, I had a much better time asleep/
No more humans, no more feeling deceived, like/
When you wake up from a nightmare, you're relieved/
But I woke up into one, with zero in my life achieved/
I'm torn between killing myself and everyone around/
A lot of you seemed to care, you just did it not enough/
I ain't doing it because I wanna, it's the pain/
I look out and I see Gods coming my way/
I waste hours staying in bed, thinking every day/
I waste time being quiet and not talking cuz I'm afraid/
No one is going to speak up, no human will take my hand/
To hell with people, those without bodies, were always my men/
I'll be giving away possessions, and saying “goodbye”/
I'm sick of this path, nobody cares if I continue alive/
I get back to alcohol and drugs, always my best friends/
I feel useless and weak, but this is about to end/

My heart slows down, I see blood on the floor/
I'm happy like I was never before/
Many things I wanna tell, but I just can't/
I shoot through my head, oh how lucky are the dead/x2/

Maybe I'll burn myself, or a little slit on my arm/
Drown myself, cuz I never meant to harm/
I put a gun in my mouth, I taste it, it's cold and greasy/
My finger is on the trigger, life was never easy/
We throw parties, we abandon our bonds/
We struggle to write books, that don't change the world/
We sleep, we live our lives, we do whatever we do/
Maybe even a bad half hour standing on a roof/
My permanent solution, I won't be screwing up this time/
Just as usual, in the Darkness I'm alright/
This game cannot be won, so I won't be playing/
Anymore, no, no more senseless chasing/
Tomorrow is the time I'll be gone, maybe reborn/
I don't know, I'll reunite myself with the magic smoke/
I'll keep my secret to myself and I'll end this poem of mine/
Farewell, cuz I won't be any longer alive/

If you're a cartoon character or most TV characters/you'll fight/because the punches are juicy-sounding and they don't leave marks/but in real life/if somebody cuts you or shoots you/you'll feel pain/if somebody takes your heart or your soul/you'll end up just like me/
