Significado de la letra
La canción 'Thing For You' de David Guetta junto a Martin Solveig habla sobre esa atracción intensa y quizás un tanto peligrosa que se siente por alguien a pesar de saber que no es lo correcto. La letra describe cómo a pesar de las señales equivocadas que envía al cerebro, los sentimientos que provoca en las venas son los correctos. La protagonista reconoce que debería alejarse, pero siempre termina regresando, cometiendo los mismos errores una y otra vez.
La persona parece tener una debilidad por aquello que sabe que no debería hacer, y cuando está cerca de esa persona prohibida, experimenta emociones confusas pero intensas. Aunque intenta cambiar y corregir sus malos hábitos, al final acepta que quizás esté un tanto acostumbrada a la situación y por eso regresa una y otra vez.
