Deep in this mist-laden forest,
confusion fills the air
feeling so lost,
could this be the end?

The cold has numbed my legs and lips
as they crack and bleed
camped in white snow
next to my ice-cold ax and shield

I am not going to be defeated,
by this darkness

Vegvisir, guide my feet
blow this mist away
Brighten my soul
that I may see the way.

Many battles I have fought
my scars are witness to my deeds
once surrounded by hungry wolves
now their pelts bring me warmth

Must I go through Hel itself
and overcome this test, I will
And those who stand in my path
Will be crushed by my wrath

Mighty talisman, ancient rune
light my spirit, as the silvery moon
