You burn,
Like the kings of old.
Wonderful poet,
Heart of gold.

Now your spirit,
Music will be.
Through the songs we wrote together
We will honor thee.

In the eyes of the ravens, you’ll be found

Skål! To your eternal glory!
Skål! To the honor of knowing you!
Skål! Because this won’t be the end!
Skål! My beloved friend!

Across the 9 worlds,
Our songs shall sound.
Great bard, for eternity
You will be renowned.

Along with the All-Father.
Now you are back home,
Back home…
