Significado de la letra
En la canción 'Don't Cross The River' de America, se narra la historia de una pequeña niña que se encuentra sola con el corazón destrozado. A pesar de su dolor, demuestra ser fuerte y astuta, sin permitir que las circunstancias la derriben por mucho tiempo. La joven parece estar lista para seguir adelante, pero se siente atrapada sin puentes que cruzar.
