Durante una noche de lluvia interminable, la suciedad fue lavada lejos por el agua que fluía por los desagües acondicionados de Nueva York. El sonido repetitivo y metálico de los pesados trenes negros resonaba en la ciudad, mientras un millón de motores permanecían en punto muerto, creando una atmósfera de quietud.
