Sobre 'Your Star'
Amy Lee le dijo a VH1: "Hace un par de años, me sentía tan sola que temía ir de gira. Acabábamos de llegar a Lisboa y yo estaba en mi habitación sintiéndome cansada y raro. Acababa de estar en casa donde podía ver las estrellas por la noche. Pero cuando miré por la ventana del hotel en Lisboa, no pude ver nada porque estábamos en esta gran ciudad. Eso fue la gota que colmó el vaso. Me sentí tan deprimida que empecé a cantar esta canción".
El undécimo carril de The Open Door, "Your Star" es "lo más difícil que ha escrito Amy". La canción fue escrita en la habitación del hotel en Portugal cuando Amy se sentía "desfasada, rara y cansada".
