Sobre 'Invisible sun'
Pero Sting la escribió con la base de la esperanza de un país en problemas.
La canción "Invisible sun" es el tema número tres del álbum, Ghost in the Machine.
Fue el primero de ocho personas que sucumbieron a los efectos de las huelgas de hambre.
Y para finalizar añadió: No siempre se puede ver, pero tiene que haber algo que irradie luz en nuestras vidas.
También dijo: Quería escribir sobre eso, pero quería mostrar algo de luz al final del túnel. Creo que tiene que haber un "sol invisible".
El artista le dijo a la revista Revolver en el año 2000: "De hecho, escribí la canción en Irlanda, donde vivía en ese momento. Fue durante las huelgas de hambre en Belfast.
Entre los que murieron se encontraba Bobby Sands, que fue elegido para el Parlamento Británico como prisionero, y que murió el 5 de mayo de 1981.
Varios presos se declararon en huelga de hambre para protestar por las condiciones en la cárcel.
