La canción tiene dos vídeos musicales. El primero fue dirigido por Matthew Bate de Plexus Films y fue rodado en Adelaida con un pequeño presupuesto de 50 dólares. El segundo video fue dirigido por Fátima y editado por Angus Giorgi.
Después de su lanzamiento, a BBC Radio 1 le gustó la canción y la tocó, y en pocas semanas fue un éxito. Fue interpretada en "Top of the Pops" y en el programa de radio de "Jo Whiley".
"Taken for Granted" es la canción #3 del segundo álbum de estudio de Sía "Healing Is Difficult".
