My knees are creaking
My ears are ringing

But I just keep rolling
Like marbles on the hardwood
I scatter like the stars would
Before I quit looking to the sky

And one too many times

Are you skipping dinner?

You’re not really there

But I am never sleepin
It’s like somebody creeps in
And turns on the goddamn hallway light

Every single night

I used to live here
In a pile of steel and lumber
