Most days I am inspired
Some days I am a wreck
I'm confident and insecure even at my best
My journal is my secret I write in everyday
All of the dreams I dream about will happen I know someday
As I paint my life my canvas stretches wide
And my masterpiece I'll draw outside the lines
And I'll do my best to be my best even if I fail
What I learn I'll turn into the wind in my sails

It's the story of my life
But at least I got time

I'm a work in progress and I got a plan
It's written in ink on the back of my hand
If I'm being honest who I am is undefined
But that's alright
I'm not perfect but nobody is
And just like a wildflower caught in the wind
It's a journey and I'm loving all the twists and the turns
Even though it hurts

My story's still unwritten and my tear drops on the page
Don't know where I fit in but I love the friends I've made
I won't give up what I want most
Even on my darkest days I don't lose hope, no

I might not always be right
