Rising from the womb of the sea
lifts his eyes to the sun
wonders where he's going to be
i am man, i've just begun
planning choices of survival
killing beasts to ease his fast
this animal walks on his two legs
the one to stand at last
Learning from the days passing by
fills his head with a plan
dreams of grace within his world
and things he don't understand
across the plains he sees his image
gazing at a stone
time will tell if it's his way
something's calling him home
He finds the night darkness and light
the breath of salvation
the mystics call stronger than all
he runs to his destination

Standing in a realm of silence
singled out to rule supreme
madness in his eyes of red
