Clue after clue, it started with a knock on the door and a certain look in your eyes. That's when a feeling arose, signaling that something was amiss, high up on cloud number nine. Despite the distance up there, we weren't coming down tonight because, even if it may not be conventional, being together felt undeniably right.
Under the moonlight with bright stars above, facing whatever may come with a sense of peace, knowing that tonight, we belonged to each other on cloud number nine. In that serene place, leaving behind the pains inflicted by others, we found solace and solitiude to enjoy each other's company.
Unwilling to descend from this blissful state, as the moon shimmered and the stars twinkled, reassuring that everything will be alright. Up on cloud number nine, there was no other place we'd rather be, as we couldn't turn back time, yet we were united in the present moment. The weather was fine, mirroring the warmth of our connection on cloud number nine.
We decided not to return to reality that night, opting instead to bask in each other's presence surrounded by the beauty of the night sky. Watching the world pass by from our lofty perch on cloud number nine, embracing the joy and contentment that came with being together.
