Significado de la letra
En esta poderosa canción de Disturbed llamada 'I'm Alive', el protagonista expresa con determinación su compromiso de no ser avergonzado ni recordado de nuevo. Rechaza vivir en un mundo desilusionado que mata la inspiración y se siente obligado a no permitir que eso suceda otra vez. Se cuestiona por dónde comenzar, pero reconoce que las opciones son infinitas y elige negar el pecado como su arte y redención.
Valorando lo que más atesora en la vida, se niega a rendirse ante los consejos ajenos y prefiere enfrentar la muerte antes que cambiar quien es.
