Sobre 'The Other Side'
Durante la entrevista de MTV en la que la canción fue vista de antemano, Amy Lee habló de la canción diciendo: "Lo escribí con los chicos. Fue una verdadera colaboración. Fue difícil para mí escribir la letra, porque tenía el coro, es muy épico y dramático; 'Contando los días para conocerte en el otro lado', pero luego, los versos, de nuevo, ese elemento de diversión está volviendo a la banda, es grooving. Así que le dije: '¿Cómo puedo cantar sobre la muerte de una manera que sea un poco maliciosa?'. Como, no es realmente posible... es difícil de explicar. Pero es más difícil de lo que parece".
